Our trip to Traverse City was really awesome. Who doesn't love family, beach and fresh produce? A day spent drinking beer on the beach with good friends then a night around a campfire is my idea of vacation. While we were mooching off our super cool up north family (thanks for the washing machine and dryer service Dennis), I further crossed over to major needy, when I was offered the best garage sale gift ever. My amazingly talented (yes, I'm still sucking up) sister-in-law Tracey gave me this amazing pot for my motor home. It is the perfect 70's retro shade to match our rollin' turd.

The best thing is it has a strainer liner, a steamer level and stand alone colander that nestles all inside the creamy daisy outer pot. Perfect for packing away in a kitchen with few cupboards. The very cool picture that shows the transformation powers of this kitchen gadget doesn't seem to want to load, so you're gonna have to trust me when I say it all fits inside. In closing I have to say a big, big THANKS to Tracey for her generosity and mad garage sale shopping skills. You rock!

You gotta love brown and orange. It reminds me of my first house.
Space saving is appreciated, even in a house, especially in a trailer.
How did the stodgy Rotarians take Jacki's announcement?
As usual, their biggest concern was, "who's taking your place?" Because, unlike us, they only care about filling her spot, not about what a great person she is. She really knows her job and I'm glad National City is giving her the advancement she's due, but man, I'll miss her cool shoes and outfits too.
The boys were a big surprise and hit with all the members. I talked to DMcV. on the side about his comments. Yikes, he almost cried. When you're wearing the presidential gavel a girl needs some respect and talking about wether I'm having more children is not a matter for the club. Dang old people.
Do I need to re-do the Semi-Annual form? Jacki said she would pay for July and August. ($20). Drat I hate paperwork.
I am so jealous about that pot! I keep thinking of all the stuff I could make in it. Have you experimented yet?
Don't be jealous, you know I'll share with you. I did cook our fresh organic red potatoes and green beans at the same time Saturday Night. They were spectacular.
Will you still think about sharing your pot with me even though I didn't call about the fair? I don't which I would rather work on - recipes for cooking with aluminum foil over the coals while camping or ones for that pot!
I'm totally jealous of your pot, lady! (The last time I said that, I felt a lot cooler.)
We should have met up when you were in TC! Our wee cottage was only about 25 minutes away.
PS: Did you see any celebs in town for the TC Film Festival? I am 77% sure I saw Rocco Ritchie. For real.
Thanks for the blog invite and now that the piggies are in piggy heaven I will have time to read it!
Love the pot, it is smokin'!
